WHY
Horses?
Horses abide by the rhythm of life. They don’t fight the battles that we humans do.
Horses taught me
and will teach you.
NON-JUDGEMENT
In their world, there are no grudges, no judgements, no divorce, no suicide. They model perfect surrender and they dance in the moment all day, every day. No matter how you arrive, you are whole. Horses allow you to come as you are, no matter what you’ve done or how you’ve behaved. They DO NOT CARE about your salary, your history, your accolades, or even your rap sheet. Learn to love yourself through having it model for you, from horses.
PRESENCE
Horses live in the present moment and only in the present moment. A horse’s innate ability to remain in the present creates a space where you can truly unfurl and discover who you are. Their ability to mirror our emotions helps us find stable ground and reconnect with who we truly are.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
You will never wonder what a horse needs or wants. They wear their needs on their “sleeve”, so-to-speak, and we humans get to learn how to communicate our needs and boundaries with confidence and kindness.
CONNECTION
Horses find resilience through connection. For 56 million years, their survival depended entirely on their relationships with the herd. In contrast, humans are suffering from a lack of connection. We have forgotten how to connect with our surroundings, each other, and ourselves.
CONGRUENCE + AUTHENTICITY
As prey animals, horses are keenly aware of the energy around them. They can sense when we are not being honest with ourselves and when we are holding unprocessed pain or tension. No matter the circumstance, they are objective and their only language is truth. So often, we feel misaligned when our internal state doesn’t match our external reality. Horses can feel it immediately and the humbly ask us to be honest with ourselves so we can show up fully in our lives.
If that isn’t enough… there’s nothing like sitting in a pasture next to 1200 pounds of TRUST and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

"DON’T JUST DEAL WITH IT,
Be WITH IT."
